Xiaomi to Launch Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 Charger in India - Pricing and Details

Xiaomi is one of those company who has always delivered good products for its users and that too is a budget price. Not just mid-range flagship mobiles, Xiaomi has given us lot of decent products this year. And now, Xiaomi has launched Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 charger which has a 9V-2A rating. Prior to this Xiaomi sold the standard 5V-2A charger in India.

This new Quick charger form Xiaomi is available on the company’s website. The price of the new charger is Rs. 499. Xiaomi also mentions that there is a 25 percent discount on the device.

This quick charger by Xiaomi will be compatible with some selected smartphones. The Xiaomi Mi 5, Xiaomi Mi 5s, Xiaomi Mi 5s Plus, Mi 6, Mi Max, Mi Max 2, Mi Note 2, and Xiaomi MIX 2 are on the list. But for now, only three of the handsets are currently available in India. So, Mi 5, Mi Max 2 and Mi MIX 2 users can purchase the new adapter for their devices.

Xiaomi Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0This new accessory launch has just been made after Xiaomi announced the Android 8.0 Oreo update for Mi A1, that has brought fast charging support to the first Android One device from the Chinese company. And this time this announcement has brought a moment of happiness to its user’s.

Xiaomi Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 charger has a power output of 5V-3A/9V-2A/12V-1.5A. It also has surge protection up to 380V with the feature of automatic Temperature Control. According to the company, the charger will not go beyond 30 degrees Celcius while in use to prevent overheating.

Talking about the look and feel the Xiaomi Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 charger comes only in Black color. If we compare the price of the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 with the standard 5V-2A charger, the standard 5V-2A charger costs Rs. 349, that is Rs 100 less than the new charger. This new Xiaomi Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 charger will not come along with a USB cable. Users will have to purchase the USB to Micro USB or USB to USB Type-C cables separately.

Qualcomm had earlier said that the Quick Charge 3.0 will be twice as fast as Quick Charge 1.0 and to be 38 percent more efficient than Quick Charge 2.0. So this is definitely going to fast forward your charging experience. Xiaomi bringing the Xiaomi Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 Charger in India does the job easier and cheaper for a lot of people.
