Xiaomi is going to announce their new flagship model Mi 6x with a new name – MiA2. In addition to the new name, it is expected to come with Android 8.0 out of the box.
Mi 6x is finally launched in China at Wuhan University by CEO Lei Jun’s almater. The new Xiaomi Mi 6X comes with significant specs bump and a unique unibody design. The best feature about Mi A2 will be its Artificial Intelligent camera. The new AI camera in Xiomi Mi 6x / Mi A2 can change shooting modes with suitable environments to give you the best photograph possible. Besides that, it can give a great Bokeh effect thanks to its dual camera setup. It also comes with a 20-megapixel wide selfie camera for selfie lovers.
Mi 6X Price, Availability
The new Mi 6X is available for 1,599 yuan for 4Gb /64GB model. While the other model with 6GB /64GB configuration comes with 1,799 yuan price tag. These phones will roughly cost you Rs 17,000 for the base 4GB model and 19,000 for the 6GB model. It also comes as a top end variant with 6GB of ram and 128GB onboard storage. The top end variant will cost around 21,500 in Indian markets. Xiaomi Mi6x will be available in markets of China starting April 27. However, there is no news about the Indian launch.
Mi 6X Features, Specifications
Mi 6x comes with Xiao AI voice assistant and AI camera which opens doors for substantial artificial intelligence possibilities, especially for photography. Xiaomi says that the camera optimises photographs based on mood, lightning and surrounds objects giving the best results ever. The selfies from Mi 6x also have a precise bokeh effect in group selfie shots.
There are rumours that Xiaomi is planning to announce Mi 6x in India pretty soon with a new name – Mi A2. According to experts and rumour leaks, Mi A2 will come with stock Android 8.0 oreo instead of traditional MIUI interface.
