Oppo is planning to launch their new sub-brand Realme in India on 15 May 2018. The first smartphone of this series will be Realme 1 which will possibly be an answer to Xiaomi’s Redmi budget series. Xiaomi has full control over the subdomain of budget smartphones. This is one of many attempts of Oppo to break this control with their smartphone. However this time, Oppo is successfully creating the hype for their new Realme 1 on the internet.
Oppo Realme – Availability
Oppo’s Realme 1 smartphone will be available exclusively on Amazon India. Currently, users can click on “Notify Me” option on Amazon India to get updates about the smartphone. There are many banner images on Amazon which gives us a quick glimpse of phone’s structure and design. So far Oppo has done a great job in design as well as camera department. However, the actual performance and user experience will decide the success of the series.

According to Oppo, every Realme device is tested for the best quality. They further added that the smartphone already endured 100,000 button tests, 10,000 drop tests and 10,000 USD test. Furthermore, Oppo has more than 500 authorised service centre throughout the country. So getting off sale services will be most easier for their customers. Oppo claims that they will give 1-hour guaranteed service to each smartphone user.
It comes with a single rear camera with a traditional LED flash. The phone supports fingerprint unlocking. The fingerprint sensor is at the bottom of the display. According to us, the brand lineup “Realme” is supposed to mimic the Redmi smartphones which are comparatively affordable to most of the people.
