OnePlus 6 launched: Again a Flagship Killer?

The manufacturer of so-called “Flagship Killers” finally unveiled their new Smartphone, the much awaited OnePlus 6. This smartphone caused a real hype in the market for its launch. Well, let us see if this time too, it is a Flagship Killer launched by the OnePlus 6 or not.

Let’s first take a look at the display the OnePlus 6.

Display

OnePlus 6 comes with a 6.28 inch Full HD AMOLED display which looks amazing. The viewing angles ate great, the display is visible outdoors as well.

The adaptive brightness feature also works very well on the device. The display is protected with the Corning gorilla glass 5 on top which is amazing.

Performance

Under the hood, the OnePlus 6 is powered by a Snapdragon 845 chip along with the Adreno 630 GPU which provides enough horsepower to this device.

The device comes in 2 variants, one with 6GB of RAM and another one with 8GB of RAM. You can choose the variant according to your needs and wants.

Camera

Almost every smartphone manufacturer is going with the dual camera setup at the rear these days. OnePlus too followed the same tend with the OnePlus 6 which comes with disk camera setup at the back. This disk camera combines of one 16 megapixel Sony sensor paired up with a 20-megapixel sensor by Sony. The camera has the optical image stabilization as well.

You can expect some great looking shots from this camera. Portrait mode is also available in the camera app. To the front, the OnePlus 6 has a 16-megapixel front-facing shooter for selfies.

The OnePlus 6 comes with the latest version of Android, Android 8.1 Oreo with the OnePlus own UI, the Oxygen OS on top. The software doesn’t have any bloatware at all. If you are someone who likes the stock Android, then you would love the software on the new OnePlus 6.
