WWDC or Worldwide Developers Conference is one of Apple’s biggest events of the year. Where Apple unleash upcoming features and upcoming iPhones. Apple’s annual Worldwide Developers Conference, or WWDC, will begin on June 4, the company recently announced.
Generally, The purpose of the event is to have a look at the next version of Apple’s iPhone and iPad software, ie iOS. Apple uses WWDC to show off the new features coming to the iPhone and iPad in the following months.
But, it might be a different approach this year. Apple might just focus on performance upgrades and less on flashing new features. Apple will take the stage next week at WWDC 2018 to announce iOS 12, iPhone SE2, presumably, and we’re hoping to be wowed.
iOS 12: Quality over quantity
Since we know there have been some flaws, faults, and glitches. That has had an awful impact on the reputation of iOS 11. Which includes the controversial “feature” that intentionally slows down iPhones. Apple is said to be focusing on quality over innovation with the forthcoming version of its mobile operating system. Ostensibly called iOS 12.
To make sure everything’s goes right this time, Apple may postpone some of the planned updates. Which includes redesigned home screen, photography enhancements and multiplayer support for AR gaming. According to Bloomberg, which has been the primary source for the lion’s share of published rumors to date.
But this time in WWDC 2018 iOS 12 may come with a more polished version of Face Id that includes the ability to unlock the iPhone even in a horizontal landscape mode. And Bloomberg has reported that Apple plans to expand its lineup of Animojis. Also, this Apple’s TrueDepth camera technology will be coming to the future version of the iPad. That support will need to be added to the tablet side of the iOS software too.
iOS 12 is said to include new functionality that lets you unlock car, office, house, and hotel doors if you own an NFC-enabled handset. There are also new features for security on Apple’s hardware itself, with the addition of even more parental controls on the iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. IOS 12 might also include extra features on the parental control. Such as the ability to monitor how much time their kids spend on their devices and many more small features
Apple iPhone SE 2:
As you know Apple saves its next-generation lineup of the iPhone for its fall event in September. But according to rumors the iPhone SE 2 will be releasing at this year’s WWDC. Apple launched iPhone SE about two years ago and was the more compact, less expensive iPhone option. Rumors say this year’s version could sport an iPhone X-like design complete with a glass back and will be smaller than its predecessor. But at the same time, some reports say that iPhone SE 2 that looks more like the original, with more of an iPhone 5 type look — Touch ID included.
Talking about some specifications. The iPhone SE2 might have a glass back which ll allow for wireless charging. Under the hood, it could also come complete with Apple’s A10 Fusion chip, 2GB of RAM, and the option to choose between 32GB or 128GB of storage. It might have 12-megapixel rear-facing camera and 5 -megapixel front-facing camera.
