Seeing WhatsApp growing day by day, the app is coming with one more small but interesting feature. WhatsApp for Android has added a ‘Forwarded’ label. The feature is available on the latest WhatsApp beta version. The new beta version of the app will start labeling messages you forwarded to your contacts. To be specific you will now see ‘Forwarded’ label that will be added to all your forwarded messages. According to the company, this will help you to create a distinction between the forwarded messages and original messages.

The label will be added to the forwarded message on both the recipients and senders. The latest highlighting feature is a Media visibility feature launched in beta to let Android users hide or show the App’s media content from their gallery. That feature was accompanied by a new Contacts shortcut that made it easy for beta users of the app to add a new contact. Along with this feature, you might see WhatsApp Payments to roll out in India in the coming week. In India, the company will partner with HDFC Bank Ltd, ICICI Bank Ltd and Axis Bank Ltd to process the transfers.

To use this ‘Forwarded’ label feature, you just need to select and forward one of the messages from one chat to any another chat. Then you will be able to see a ‘Forwarded’ label on the right top of the message. For now, there isn’t any option to disable the label. Which means you can not remove the label from the messages you forward to the contacts.
