How to download Android Pie
- First things First. You need to make sure that you use one of the five above mentioned phones. The handsets are Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL and the Essential Phone.
- The update will come as an OTA update (Over The Air Update). So head over to your smartphone’s Settings > System > System Update to see if the update is available yet for your device. If it’s available you will get a notification about the availability of Android Pie.
- Tap on Download and Install and the update will start downloading. Although, you need to have enough charge and free space in your phone to install the update. So better free up some storage and keep your charger nearby.
