Summary: Apple has just sent the invites for the 2018 tech events stated, “Gather round” at the company’s Steve Jobs theater in Cupertino, California. The teaser however does not reveal much of the insights; but the products expected at the events surface to be the coolest smartwatch Series 4 and the coolest iPhone XS. The reveal event will take place on September 12 where it will perhaps give us more from the audio range as well. Supposedly known as the successor of iPhone X, iPhone XS features a new gold color. 9to5Mac reveals the images of seemingly interesting Apple’s invite and confirms the new black blend. It is evident that the US tech giant will continue to produce next-in-line bezel-less display and a larger sibling to the current models. The base version of 6-inches will have two variants, the smaller with a 5.8-inch screen, and the larger one with a 6.5-inch screen. The iPhone XS is also alleged to feature an OLED display.
What is new in the iPhone XS?
The iPhone XS photo reveals two phones viz. colored gold. Nevertheless, the new iPhones are also expected to have three color options: gold, white, and black. On the other hand, the 6.1-inch variant of the flagship phone will have a red blue and orange variant besides the white one. More importantly, it will be an LCD display model. Although there might not be many instantly noticeable differences between the new iPhone XS and current iPhone X, the cheaper iPhone for 2018 might have an aluminum frame in all the five classic Apple colors.
All three iPhones will have an A12 Chip, a natural upgrade on the A11 bionic chip and an upgrade to iOS 12. Rather than splitting up between QUALCOMM and Intel, Apple iPhone will have 4GB of RAM and a 2.94 GHz Hexa-core chipset. When it comes to battery, analysts predict 10%-25% betterment in the battery life, viz. it could go up to 3,300mAh or 3,4000mAh.
Flipping the coin to the other side, a new watch face can also make a cameo in the Apple’s portfolio under Series 4. The upcoming watch will display more information than the previous faces. It will show eight complications in all and an additional microphone for enhanced sound quality. Not to forget the noise cancellation technology integrated with the microphone to offer an enhanced calling experience.

When does it hit the market?
From the Apple’s history of introducing flagship products, it is obvious that Apple brings a more compact version of the flagship phones similar to the iPhone 5C, and SE. 9to5Mac does not reveal any further details of the features other than the name, but surely a new trend will begin soon. The expectation is 14th of Sept for the pre-order availability and a week or two later on 21st or 28th, iPhone XS will most probably release.
