Will help promote the film in Assam

Vodafone Idea Ltd has announced commitment to help promote national award winning Assamese feature film and India’s official entry for the Oscars 2019- Village Rock-stars. Vodafone Idea will help promote the film through its omni channel marketing platform and communication initiatives across Assam.

Vodafone Idea is promoting Village Rock-stars

Vodafone Idea is promoting Village Rock-stars across 65 single screen movie theaters and Multiplexes, Malls in Assam, across cities like Guwahati, Jorhat, Dibrugarh. Vodafone Idea will also communicate the message on a one-on-one basis with all of its customers in the state. Additionally, 15000+ posters of
‘Village Rock-stars’ have been created for creating visibility in rural areas of Assam through Vodafone Idea retail touch points.

Set in Rima Das’ native village of Chhaygaon in Assam, ‘Village Rock-stars’ is the story of a village girl Dhunu, played by child actor Bhanita Das, who lives a fun-filled life and aspires to become a Rock-star one day. The movie has been chosen to represent India in the Oscars’ Best Foreign Language category. The film has already bagged the Best Feature film trophy at the 65th National Film Awards held earlier this year.
