While Reliance Jio keeps on conquering the Indian telecom market the challenges for Bharti Airtel and Vodafone-Idea keeps growing even more. The latest move by Bharti Airtel which omitted the general talk time recharges didn’t go well with the customers. To compensate for that Airtel has come up with a ₹23 prepaid plan which adds 28 days validity to the account. To make it a little better for the customers Airtel has also revised two of their existing prepaid plans.

Airtel ₹399 and ₹448 Plans Revised

Airtel has now officially updated both the ₹399 and ₹448 plans across the country. Earlier the ₹399 plan was offering validity of 70 days for most people (selected customers were getting 84 days). However, now onwards everyone across the country will get the same validity of 84 days on the plan.

Despite the validity improvement, not everything is good with the ₹399 plan. The telecom operator has reduced the per day data cap from 1.4 GB to 1 GB. That means rather than getting 1.4 GB data per day one will be getting only 1 GB data per day. Now, this is a serious concern for many of the heavy users.

The ₹448 plan, however, will see an improvement on the other hand. Earlier the users were getting 1.4 GB data per day and from now onwards they will be getting 1.5 GB of daily data. Considering that the ₹448 plan has a validity of 82 days it looks a much better option to go ahead.

In the other news, Vodafone Idea telecom has also updated their ₹399 plan. Just like Airtel, they have also decreased the daily quota to 1 GB per day.

Airtel ₹169 Plan Now Live for Everyone

Other than updating the ₹399 and ₹448 plans Airtel has also made the ₹169 plan available for all. The prepaid plan was available for only selected customers and now it will be available across the nation. The plan will come with 1 GB data per day for 28 days along with unlimited voice calling with no cap and 100 SMS per day.  So in case if you’re a heavy caller this plan should be a pocket-friendly unlimited pack for you.
