PUBG Mobile is one of the most famous games in India and other parts of the world. Many play the game regularly with their friends. I myself play the game and I have to say the game is pretty fun when you play it with your friends. However, there are some problems and bugs (like the blurry text and graphics bug in PUBG Mobile) present in the game.
Tencent, the publisher of PUBG Mobile updates the game regularly and fixes most bugs. With every new update, the game gets new engaging contents. However, with new updates sometimes new bugs come as well. Recently, Tencent pushed an update for PUBG Mobile which takes the version of the game to 0.14.0.
Blurry Text and Graphics Bug in PUBG Mobile
The new update adds a new Infection mode. With this update, the look of the lobby has also changed a lot. The update looks decent to my taste. However, I have noticed some weird bugs after updating my game to version 0.14.0. The texts and the graphics look blurry.
Earlier the texts and graphics used to be sharp and crispy in my phone. I use an iPhone 6S and play the game in HD graphics setting with high frame rates. The game runs very smoothly on my phone. Moreover, everything other than the game itself is sharp on my phone. There are no problems with display either. When I searched on the internet regarding the issue I saw many people having the same issue. However, there are no guides or tutorials to fix this problem.
Later I was checking the game settings and I found that this bug is very easy to fix. If you are also facing the same issue with blurry texts and graphics bug in PUBG Mobile then keep reading as I am pretty sure this small trick will fix your problem.
Here’s how to fix the Blurry Text and Graphics Bug in PUBG Mobile
1. Using the Repair Option
So this is the trick I used to fix the blurry text and graphics bug in PUBG Mobile. Basically here we will use the repair option within the game and reset the small server update. Doing so, the game will download the small update after the repair is done. This should fix the issue. Here’s how to do it.
- Open PUBG Mobile in your phone.
- Tap on the Settings option (It will be in the bottom right corner).
- Under Basic Settings, there will be an option to logout. Select that.
- Click on ‘OK’ to confirm that you want to logout.
- Now, on the right side of the screen, you will see the ‘Repair’ option.
- Tap on that and select the ‘Routine Repair’.
- Click ok to so that the game repairs itself.
It will remove the small update. Once the repair finishes, the game will automatically download that small update again. Then you can log in to the game once again and now the irritating blurry text and graphics bug in PUBG Mobile should be fixed. However, if this process does not work for you there’s nothing to worry as there are more ways to fix this issue.
2. Using the Advanced Repair Option
If the earlier trick did not work for you then you can try the advanced repair settings. In this case, the game will repair itself and it will make most changes default. However, doing so will result in deleting all the downloaded maps and updates. It is also worth noting that redownloading all the maps and updates can take much longer time depending on your Internet connection. Here’s how to do it.
- Follow the steps from the first trick, go to settings and then logout.
- Now in the login page tap on ‘Repair’.
- Now select ‘Initialization’.
- Wait for the repair to finish and log in to the game.
Hopefully, this has fixed the blurry text and graphics bug in PUBG Mobile that you were facing. I have verified both the tricks with my friends and these have fixed their issues. I hope it did the same for you as well. However, if you are still facing issues then reinstalling the whole game is your best option. If you have any queries regarding these tricks let me know in the comments.
