5 technologies might become a factor: The world is amidst the 4th Industrial Revolution, and technology is already questioning the existence of humans. It is evolving faster than ever. Uncertainly we do not know where will this take us. Companies and individuals who do not cope up with the current technology trend and are not thinking beyond present carry the risk of being left behind. Understanding the key trends is important to initiate technological development.
Also, this will allow people and businesses to prepare themselves for upcoming opportunities. So it becomes very important to understand some of the most important tech trends. In this article, I am going to talk about the five most important tech trends for 2020.
1.# AI as a service
Artificial Intelligence (AI), it’s emergence as a tech-savvy was a transformative step. Artificial Intelligence as a service is a concept based on the use of AI in general lifestyle. How people can use AI to improve customer experience and to run their business operations.
It will allow us to simply record in our own data in return of a payment that we have to make. The recorded data will provide us the algorithms or compute resources for our use. Currently, these platforms are quite expensive to use. For now, only Amazon, Google, and Microsoft provide such platforms. During 2020, we will see the wider adoption of such platforms.
2.# 5G Data Network
5 technologies might become a factor: The quality of data networks has always been a major concern for ordinary people. The 4th industrial revolution will welcome 5G in the specter. The 5th generation of mobile internet connectivity will give us super-fast download and browsing speeds. Though the 5G mobile data networks will be available by the end of 2019, globally and completely it will be available for people by 2020. For not it is expensive and limited to functioning in confined areas or major cities only.
The high internet speed means that mobile networks will become more affordable than the wired network. The increased network bandwidth will enable machines, robots, and autonomous vehicles to collect and transfer more and more data than ever, leading to formation of a Big-Big data.
3.# Extended Reality (XR)
Extended Reality (XR) is beyond the Virtual and Augmented Reality, as it is the mixture of Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality. XR covers several new and emerging technologies that provide more immersive digital experiences. Virtual reality (VR) provides a fully digital experience where you enter a computer-generated world. Augmented reality (AR) showcases digital objects onto the real world via smartphone and computer screens, for example camera filters. Mixed reality (MR) is an up-gradation of AR.
So just imagine what will XR do, it will create a holographic world, where you can interact with the objects that you see on your mobile or computer screen.
4.# Blockchain Technology
5 technologies might become a factor: It refers to the transparent, trustless, publicly accessible ledger that allows us to securely transfer the ownership of units of value using public-key encryption and proof of work methods. For now, the Bitcoin Network is the first successful implementation of blockchain technology. It is said that more and more companies are planning to launch their own Blockchain platforms by 2020. Facebook is going to launch blockchain-based crypto currently Libra, which is going to create quite a stir.
Distributed ledger technology, (for example, blockchain), Artificial intelligence (AI), Extended Reality (XR), and Quantum computing, shortened to DARQ form one such future technology pattern of 2020 that business and every individual must focus on. It is going to be the next set of new technologies to spark a change, letting companies re-imagine possibilities.
We are living in a world which is about to change completely. So, for now, we can just imagine the new possibilities and prepare ourselves for it.
