We are expecting that the Chinese smartphone company would launch its much-awaited flagship smartphone series at the company’s global MWC 2020 event in Barcelona. However, the MWC 2020 was canceled due to coronavirus worries. Now, the Xiaomi officially launched Mi 10 series flagship smartphones at an online-only event in China, called Xiaomi Mi 10 and Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro. Both smartphones are high-end devices.
Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro flagships featured with four rear cameras and High-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset. Xiaomi’s Mi 10 series smartphones are the first devices from the company that features a punch-hole front camera on display. The main highlighted feature of the phones is the 108-megapixel camera on the back. Both the devices support wireless charging feature. The Mi 10 smartphones support SA and NSA 5G and Wi-Fi 6.
Both the premium flagship smartphones come with impressive range of specs and feature onboard. The Pro version of Mi 10 seems like a direct competitor to the Samsung Galaxy S20.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro
In terms of design, Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro and Mi 10 look very similar. The Mi 10 Pro comes with a curved display panel along with a selfie camera cutout on the top left of the screen. It has a curved glass panel too. On the top left side of the rear panel, there are four cameras and the phone available in multi-color options. At the top and bottom of the Mi 10 Pro, there are speaker grilles. At the bottom, there also a USB-C type charging port.
The Mi 10 Pro comes with 6.67-inch AMOLED curved display panel with 1080 x 2340 pixels of resolution and also supports HDR 10+. The display of the phone supports the 90Hz refresh rate which makes the content and motion look great and 180Hz sampling rates. It comes with 1200 nit peak brightness.
The most important of the feature of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is the four rear camera setup. Xiaomi’s MI 10 Pro main rear camera has a 108-megapixel camera sensor along with three other camera sensors. The other sensors are 8-megapixel camera that supports 10X hybrid zoom, 12-megapixel camera with 2x telephoto for portrait mode and 20-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera. The rear camera of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro comes with OIS and EIS features. It also supports 4K and 8K video recording feature. On the front side, there is a 20-Megapixel camera for taking selfies and video calling.
The company launched three RAM and ROM variants of the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro flagship smartphone. One comes with 8 GB of RAM along with 256, second 12 GB of RAM along with 256 GB and the last 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage option. All the Mi 10 Pro variants have the latest LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage.
Inside, the Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro has a 4500 mAh capacity battery and comes with fast charging feature. The phone can be charged up to 50W via cable, supports 30W wireless charging and 10W reverse charging.

Xiaomi Mi 10 comes with a curved front and rear glass panel. It has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2340 pixels of resolution. It also supports the same 90 Hz refreshing rate. The phone powered by Snapdragon 865 processor on board. The Mi 10 comes with 8 GB of RAM along with 128 GB storage, 8 GB of RAM along with 256 GB storage and 12 GB RAM along with 256 GB of storage variants.
Xiaomi’s latest flagship Mi 10 featured with quad cameras setup. The 108 Megapixel main camera along with 13 Megapixel ultra camera, 2 Megapixel macro snapper camera and 2 Megapixel depth camera sensors. It has a bigger 4780 mAh battery capacity inside the body. You can charge the phone up to 30W through both cable and wireless. It supports 10W reverse charging.

Xiaomi Mi 10 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage variant available at 3,999 Chinese yuan (~$573), the 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage model at 4,299 Chinese yuan (~$616) and last 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage variant of the MI 10 available at 4,699 Chinese yuan (~$673).
While, the Mi 10 Pro 8 GB RAM with 256 GB storage variants available at 4,999 Chinese yuan (~$716), 12 GB RAM with 256 GB storage variants available at 5,499 Chinese yuan (~$787) and High-end 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage variants available at 5,999 Chinese yuan (~$859).
