Realme 6i launched with Helio G80 SoC, 48MP quad-camera and 5,000 mAh battery

A couple of months Oppo-sub brand Realme launched Realme 5i smartphone. Now, the company launched the successor of the phone, called Realme 6i. Realme launched the phone in Myanmar at launching the event. The Realme 6i featured with quad rear cameras and new Helio G80 chipset. Realme 6i also the world’s first smartphone powered with Helio G80 chipset.

Realme 6i specifications

Realme 6i comes with a 6.5-inch display panel that supports FHD+ pixels of resolution and offers 89.9 percent screen to body ratio. The phone features a waterdrop notch that carries a selfie camera. It powered by Octa-Core CPU under the hood which clocks at 2 GHz along with MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. There is Mali-G52 GPU  for image processing. The phone available in two RAM and memory variants, one come with 3 GB of RAM and 64 Gb internal storage and the other comes with 4 Gb of RAM and 128 Gb internal storage.

It comes with a pre-installed Android 10 Operating system out of the box along with Realme UI running on top. The Realme 6i featured with a vertically placed quad-camera setup on the backside along with an LED flash. The rear cameras configurations are 48-megapixel main camera, 8-megapixel ultrawide 119-degree angle camera, 2-megapixel macro camera, and 2-megapixel depth camera.

On the front side, there is a 16-megapixel with an f/2.0 AI-powered camera for selfies and video calls. The company packed the phone with a 5000 mAh battery inside and comes with an 18W fast charger. The phone supports Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, USB C-type, GPS, Bluetooth, and more connectivity features.

The Realme 6i 3 GB RAM and 64 GB model available at KS 249,900 (around $176 / Rs. 13,000) price tag and the 4 GB RAM and 128 storage model available at KS 299,900 ( around $212 / Rs. 15,700) price tag. The phone is available for pre-order till March 26 in Myanmar. The phone is available in Milke White and Green Tea color options.
