Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s introduced with quad rear cameras and massive battery

Xiaomi introduced Redmi Note 9s smartphone at the online launch event. The Redmi Note 9s is the global version of the recently launched Redmi Note 9 Pro in India. Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s comes with a 6.67-inch IPS display panel that supports 1080 x 2400 pixels of resolution and HDR10. The phone offers a 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone comes with a glass panel on both front and back sides and both the panels protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s powered by Octa-Core CPU which clocks at 2.3 GHz along with Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G chipset under the hood. The company launched two RAM and ROM variants, one comes with 4 GB of RAM with 64 GB internal storage and the second variant has 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB internal storage. The phone also comes with a micro SD card slot onboard for more storage up to 512 GB. The Redmi Note 9s has a pre-installed Android 10 operating system along with MIUI 11 running on top. 

Xiaomi’s Note 9s featured with quad-camera sensors on the backside along with LED flash. The configuration of the rear cameras is a 48-megapixel main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, 5-megapixel macro lens, and 2-megapixel  depth camera. On the front side, there is a 16-megapixel camera with f/2.5 aperture for selfies and video calls. You can also record slow-motion videos from the selfie camera at 120fps. 

Inside the body, the phone has a 5020 mAh battery and it can be charged at 18W charger. There is a fingerprint scanner placed on the side instead of the back panel. The phone available in Aurora Blue, Glacier White, and interstellar grey color options. The phone comes with WI-FI, Bluetooth, Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, GPS, USB, 3.5mm audio jack port, and more connectivity features. It also supports IR blaster.

The phone will be available in the global market from April 7. At the launch event, Xiaomi also introduces the Redmi Note 9s MFF 2020 limited edition. The company said that there are only 2020 units will be available to celebrate the company’s 10th anniversary of the Mi Fan Festival this year.
