While most of us were waiting for a new 14-inch MacBook Pro, Apple updated it’s 13-inch MacBook Pro series. The updated series now comes with Apple’s Magic Keyboard. It replaces the butterfly keyboard which had many issues. The base model of the MacBook Pro still has 8th-gen Intel processors. However, the higher-priced versions come with the new 10th gen processors. This new processor is said to improve graphics performance by 80%.
13-inch MacBook Pro 2020: Price in India
The base model costs $1299 in the US. Whereas in India, the base model with 256 GB storage will be priced at Rs. 1,22,990. The 512 GB model will be priced at Rs. 1,42,990. The more expensive 10th gen intel processor-powered MacBook Pro will sell for 1,74,990 for the 512 GB variant and 1,94,990 for the 1 TB variant. These 10th gen MacBook Pro 13 will be equipped with 16 GB of RAM. Apple is yet to announce a date when the devices will start selling. Due to the Covid-19 situation, the sale of the device in India might get delayed.
Specifications
The MacBook Pro 13-inch models come with a 13.3-inch LED-backlit display. The screen has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a peak brightness of 500 nits. There’s also support for P3 color gamut and true tone technology. The models are also equipped with Apple’s Touch Bar and Touch ID. There’s also a physical Esc key available.
The cheaper 256 GB and 512 GB storage variants come with 8th gen Intel core i5 processors and 8 GB RAM. Whereas, the costlier models with 512 GB and 1 TB storage variants come with 10th gen intel core i5 processor and 16 GB of RAM. There’s also the new magic keyboard available in all the models of the device. Other than that, the 13-inch MacBook Pro comes with four USB Type-C thunderbolt ports for connectivity.
