Asus officially announced the release date for ROG phone 3, the smartphone will be launched on July 22. The third edition of the ROG series was much awaited as the first two editions did well in the market. Some key features of this upcoming gadget have been revealed. Though the price is still a mystery. The phone will be launched through an online event on July 22, 8:30 PM onwards. Reports say that Asus ROG Phone 3 id going to be the most powerful smartphone in the market as of now.
Asus ROG Phone 3 Specifications
As of the specifications, this smartphone will come in three different RAM variants of 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB. Along with 128GB storage expandable up to 512GB. It will run on android 10 fueled by Qualcomm snapdragon 865 lightning-fast processor.
The gaming phone doesn’t disappoint us with battery. It comes with a huge battery of 5800mAh assisted by a 30W fast charger. TENAA revealed that ROG phone 3 will be having a wide 6.59 inch fully HD AMOLED display.
The rear camera will be of 64MP+13MP plus telephoto camera megapixels that haven’t been revealed. There is no word about the front camera specifications of the gaming smartphone. Speaking of the design it is speculated quite the same as ROG phone 2 with an under-display fingerprint scanner. Yet some specs are still unknown.
When it comes to competitors for ROG phone 3 Lenovo’s legion gaming smartphone and Xiaomi black shark 3 could be counted as rivals. As speaking of this smartphone’s performance, people are expecting something big from this third edition of the ROG Phone series.
