How To Enable WhatsApp Web Dark Mode Via Android, iOS?

WhatsApp Web dark mode rolled out for beta-version

WhatsApp is continuously working on making its interface more user-friendly and interactive. As of now, WhatsApp has launched a dark mode for the desktop version of the app. Previously, the dark mode was only available for the Android and iOS versions of WhatsApp.

Users were waiting for the WhatsApp Web dark mode from a long time. The Facebook owned company launched dark mode for Android 9.0 in the first quarter of 2020. Before that. dark mode was only available for the Android 10 and iOS users.

How To Enable WhatsApp Web Dark Mode

  1. Firstly, update the WhatsApp app in your smartphone from Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
  2. Open any web browser on your desktop and visit web.whatsapp.com.
  3. Scan the QR code via your phone to log in to the WhatsApp web.
  4. Click on the three-dot menu button available at the top right corner of the contacts window.
  5. Then click on settings options and then click on the theme.
  6. Now click on the dark mode option.
  7. Your WhatsApp Web theme will be changed to dark mode successfully.

You can simply toggle between the dark theme and regular theme by following the above-mentioned steps. WhatsApp Web dark mode is one of the most awaited features rolled-out by the company.

However, the dark mode feature is currently available in the 2.20.13 beta version of WhatsApp. The global rollout of the feature is expected soon. The company is also going to launch a QR code for all the WhatsApp profiles as we see in the case of Instagram.

Apart from the above-mentioned features, WhatsApp has also rolled out a new animated stickers pack for the beta version of the WhatsApp. As of now, only one sticker pack named Playful Piyomaru is available in the beta version. More stickers packs will be rolled out at the time when the feature will launch for the stable version of the app.
