Reliance Jio launches free HD video conferencing app ‘JioMeet’

Supports up to 100 participants in 24+ hours calls for free

Reliance Jio unveils its first free HD video conferencing app, ‘JioMeet’ which will serve as a serious competition to other video conferencing apps such as Zoom, Google Meet, and more. Initially, this app was available just for beta users, but now the company has opened it up for both iOS as well as Android users. You can choose to download the JioMeet app from Google Play Store or any other app store for free.

Amid this lockdown when work from home and delivering education is supported by the internet. Then to ease the process of video conferencing becomes the main priority. With a surplus variety of users, we can not take a chance to stick to a certain option. Variability in choice along with escalating improvement turns essential.

Keeping a note of choices and needs in mind, the JioMeet app has hit the market, with ample benefits that will serve as a boon for users.

Availability of JioMeet App

JioMeet app is available for Android and iOS users. It can be downloaded from the Google Play Store for Android and Apple App Store for iOS. The PC version of JioMeet is available, but once you visit the site it shows ‘coming soon’ that simply means, PC users will soon avail the benefit of this launch.

Features

Being a video conferencing app, security turns up to be the primitive priority. And that has been taken well care of. JioMeet app offers special security set up that allows you to password-protect your calls. That will stop strangers to barge in. After securing your call, if anyone tries to enter the meeting, he/she is initially held to the waiting area and after the grant of permission is allowed to merge into the call.

100 users can join together in a single video call. Unlike Zoom that offers only 40 minutes of a free call, JioMeet offers 24hrs free call is it single or multiple without any interruption or lag. This app similar to zoom offers you a ‘Safe Driving Mode’ allowing you to enjoy uninterrupted calls.

JioMeet

One of the unique feature which Google has been working on and has still not succeeded to introduce. JioMeet app brings that you i.e. host can log in into 5 separate devices through a single login ID. Allowing hosts to easily join with a larger group of people without wasting time. Rest features of it a similar to other apps i.e. Share screen, chat option, and much more.

JioMeet app is going to be a game changer once it enters the race of video conferencing apps and the impact has already been discussed above.
