Oppo has rolled out the brand new Oppo A53 to give fierce competition to other brands like Xiaomi, Realme, and Samsung. It features a punch-hole display along with a 90Hz refresh rate, which is going to serve as a boon for gamers. Apart from that, Oppo A53 will also sport a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and a gradient back to make it more stylish.
The smartphone is going to have a face-off with other smartphones in the same range, including Redmi Note 9 Pro, Samsung Galaxy M31, and Realme 6. This move by Oppo can do wonders for the brand as it was a much-needed one because all the competitors were coming up with something new for the audience.
Oppo A53 Specs
Oppo A53 comes up with a 6.5-inch HD+ display and a 90Hz refresh rate. It is based on the Android 10 OS and is customized with the ColorOS7.2. The smartphone will run on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 460 processor that will be paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage in the basic variant of the smartphone.
In terms of camera, it features a triple rear camera set up including 13MP primary sensor, 2MP macro sensor, 2MP depth sensor. The smartphone will come equipped with a 16MP front camera for the sake of selfies.
The smartphone will have two different variants based on storage including a 64GB internal storage variant and a 128GB internal storage variant. Moreover, it’s memory can be expanded up to 256GB with a microSD card slot. Oppo A53 has a powerful 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Connectivity options in the smartphone include GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 4G VoLTE.
Price and Availability
The 4GB RAM variant of the smartphone along with 64GB onboard storage will be available at a price of Rs 12,990, and the 6GB RAM variant along with 128GB will be available at a price of Rs 15,490. The first sale of the smartphone was held today and it is available on Flipkart to buy.
The company has also launched a 10,000 mAh Power Bank named Oppo Power Bank 2 that is available at a price of Rs 1299. The power bank is available on Flipkart and the customers who are going to buy it with Oppo A53 will also get an additional discount of Rs 400.
