The first-ever WhatsApp stickers have been named as Playful Piyomaru and are of 2.8MB in size. The sticker pack consists of a bird-like yellow-colored creature with a big face.

The Playful Piyomaru pack consists of stickers for most of the basic moods and situations including crying, tired, laughing, angry, thanking someone, and a lot more. A total number of 24 stickers are available in the pack.

The only limitation with WhatsApp animated sticker is that it is not on loop, and it becomes static after a point of time. WhatsApp will add a loop to the stickers in the future as per the user demand.

As of now, WhatsApp has launched only a single animated sticker pack. Moreover, the sticker pack is only available for the beta users WhatsApp for Android and iOS. The stable version users will not see the stickers in static form as they don’t have the ability to see an animated sticker.

It is expected that after removing bugs, WhatsApp will roll out a more animated sticker for the platform. There is no word about the launch of animated stickers for the stable version of WhatsApp. Speculations are that WhatsApp will launch the animated stickers for the stable version by August 2020.

Apart from the WhatsApp animated stickers, the Facebook-owned company is also working on a multidevice support feature. The latest reports claimed that WhatsApp has already started testing a multi-device support feature for both Android and iOS versions of the app. The feature may hit the beta version by the beginning of the fourth quarter of 2020.
