Apple has decided to increase the iPhone prices in India following the latest edition of Union Budget. The Modi government’s decision of increasing import duty from 15% to 20% on smartphones is expected to affect the smartphone industry in India widely. And it looks like the changes have started taking place from the leading global smartphone manufacturer itself.
The prices of iPhone have now increased by almost 3%. The prices of iPhone X, 8, 8 Plus, 7, 7 Plus, 6s, 6s Plus will go up following this decision. The new prices will be applicable starting from today. Apple has already informed all of their retailers about the updated pricing. Moreover, they have also updated their website listing following the change in pricing.
