Asus Zenfone AR Launched in India with Googles Daydream, Tango Support and TriCam

Just a few minutes ago at a press event in New Delhi, Asus launched the Asus Zenfone AR in India. The device is quite exceptional from other devices. it is the second tango phone after the Lenovo Phab P2 Pro and the first device which supports Tango and Daydream VR.

The Asus Zenfone AR has support for Google Daydream VR. Daydream is a virtual reality platform developed by Google specifically for mobile devices. The device supports Daydream view and other Daydream headsets. Other than Daydream the Zenfone AR also has support for Tango.

For those who don’t know, Tango is an AR or augmented reality platform by Google. Phones which support Tango can understand the physical distance between objects and the device itself. It is widely used for gaming and also for indoor navigation.
