Nokia 7: Specification and Price

HMD Global seems like filling up the missing Nokia number series. Today, HMD Global has added a new smartphone in the Nokia smartphone line up that is Nokia 7.

This is the second Nokia phone to have a “bothie” camera after the launch of Nokia 8. The new Nokia 7 is a mid-range device with a decent spec sheet. Now let’s quickly have a look at the Specification.

Nokia 7 Keynotes:

Nokia 7 is the first device made by HMD having the glass body, it’s front and rear is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3

It also has the 7000 series aluminum alloy frame.

HMD Global promised monthly android security updates to this device also. Though the device comes with android nougat out of the box it can be upgraded to android oreo.

Nokia OZO audio technology helps this device to capture every bit of the sound.

It also has the ZEISS optics with the 16MP sensor coupled with f/1.8 aperture. Though it is offering only single camera still ZEISS is a pretty heavy name behind Nokia. So on paper, we expect the camera to be a good one.

The Nokia 7 is featuring “Dual-sight” technology, with the camera being able to take “bothies” as marketed by HMD Global.

Nokia 7 Price & Availablity:

The Nokia 7 will be available in two colors: Gloss Black and Matt White.

Nokia 7 will be available in China from October 24.

It is priced at 2,499 yuan (US$ 376 / Rs. 24,520 approx.) for the 4GB RAM version and the 6GB RAM version costs 2,699 yuan (US$ 406 / Rs. 26,480 approx.)

It will be available to pre-order on JD.com, Suning, and Tmall in China.

There is no word on the India launch yet.
