After launching mid-range devices and flagship smartphones Nokia is now gearing up to launch an affordable smartphone. The upcoming device which could be named Nokia 2 will be having pretty good features. The Nokia 2 is expected to launch for a price of $99. And it is pretty safe to assume that the expected pricing is correct as well as the Nokia 3 is priced at around $150.

The Nokia 3 is priced at ₹9,499 in India. Considering that we can expect a price of ₹6,499 for the Nokia 2 in India.

Nokia 2: Expected Specifications

Nokia 2 is expected to run on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and it will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo as well. Furthermore, the device is also expected to have a 5-inch HD display. As per the leaks suggests, it should also come with on-screen buttons rather than capacitive touch buttons.

Coming to the camera part, it is expected that the device will include an 8 MP primary camera and a 5 MP front shooter. The device will also have 1.4 GHz Snapdragon 212 Quad-Core processor and 1 GB of RAM. Moreover, there will be 8 GB of internal storage as well as Micro SD card expansion.

In the negative part, there won’t be any fingerprint scanner in the device. However, it will have dual sim support and a massive 4000 mAh battery to power the device. This battery life of the device should be pretty good as the Snapdragon 212 uses very less power.

Recently, Nokia 2 was listed on US retailer B&H for some time. The page has been taken down. However, the listing had model number TA-1035 which is exactly same of FCC listing. The price quoted on B&H’s list was $99.
