Need for Speed Payback is an upcoming racing video game developed by Ghost Games and published by Electronic Arts. It will available on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Need for Speed Payback is a racing game set in an open world environment. It sets in the desert, that features a stunt chain system that lays out experience based on how well you do for how long.
It will focus on action driving and will have three playable characters. Each with different sets of skills working together to pull off action movie like sequences.
The game takes place in Fortune Valley and follows the three main characters: Tyler Morgan (The Racer), Mac (The Showman) and Jess (The Wheelman). So basically, Payback takes three car criminals as they pursue a group of even worse criminals. We can compare the story of famous Hollywood movie series “Fast and Furious”.
It will be the 23rd installment of the Need for Speed series. The game is scheduled to be released worldwide on November 10, 2017. Unlike the 2015 Need for Speed reboot, Payback will include an offline single-player mode.
The developer Ghost Games also delivering a PC version that runs at 4K. It will have an unlocked frame rate, and with tons of customization settings and options.
