Reliance Jio has launched a new prepaid recharge offers as the Happy New Year 2018 offer. The existing tariff plans of Jio now offers up to 50% more. Jio also introduced four new tariff plans as well. With the launch of Happy New Year 2018 offer, Jio is going aggressive with the data pricing. Now Big players like Airtel, Vodafone and Idea will face another knockdown after this. Basically, Jio has cut the prices of earlier plans and introduced new tariff plans offering even more data.
This move will bring down the base price of Jio plans with 1GB data per day to Rs. 149. It will give users a total of 28GB 4G data for 28 days. These changes will be effective from Tuesday, January 9. Though It is not clear the changes are permanent or not but from January 9 this plans will be effective. Now let’s have a sneak peek of the Happy New Year Plans.
Starting from January 9, the Rs. 199, Rs. 399, Rs. 459 and Rs. 499 Jio plans will be Rs. 149, Rs. 349, Rs. 399 and Rs. 449, respectively. The prices of these plans are reduced by Rs 50, but the benefits are same though. The prices of new plans are reduced by Rs 50, but the benefits are same. The Total data, calling, and SMS benefits as well as access to free apps. Rs. 149 will give users a total of 28GB 4G data for 28 days(1GB/day) which is pretty amazing. However, validity is increased as the New Rs 349 plan is valid for 70 days, the Rs 399 plan for 84 days, and lastly, the Rs 449 plan gives benefits for 91 days.
Reliance Jio also launched four new tariff plans as Rs. 198, Rs. 398, Rs. 448, and Rs. 498. All these new plans will offer 1.5GB data per day with such affordable pricing. The Rs.198 plan will valid for 28 days, the Rs. 398 will offer validity of 70 days, Rs. 448 plan will offer 84 days. In addition, the Rs 498 plan will be valid for 91 days and with these new plans, Jio brings down the cost of per GB to Rs 4 per day.
No doubt this Happy New Year Plans from Jio will make the tariff war more interesting. Reliance Jio is starting this New Year with a Big Bang and proving the experts wrong again.
