On Thursday, The Taiwanese handset maker Asus announced a permanent price drop its smartphones in the ZenFone smartphone series. There are 7 Zenfone in the list which received the price cut in India. The new prices will be applicable to across Asus online-offline partners as well as Asus Exclusive Stores in India.

We plan to have aggressive pricing to make ZenFones the most preferred smartphone choice for the Indian Consumer.”
Now coming to the list, it includes ZenFone 3 (5.2), ZenFone 3 (5.5), ZenFone Max. In addition, ZenFone 3 Max (5.2), ZenFone 3 Max(5.5), ZenFone Go(5.0), and ZenFone Go(5.5).
1. Asus ZenFone (ZE520KL)/ (ZE552KL):
Asus ZenFone 5.2 inch (ZE520KL) will now available at a price of Rs. 11,999, down from Rs. 13,999. The ZenFone 3 5.5 inch (ZE552KL) will be available at Rs. 14,999, down from Rs. 16,999. Both the phone has Snapdragon 625, 16MP Sony IMX298 sensor at the back with f/2.0 aperture, 6P lens, 4-axis Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS), and dual-tone LED flash. In addition, 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and 88-degree wide-angle lens.
5.2-inch version has 2600mah battery whereas 5.5-inch variant has slightly bigger 3000mah battery. It also worth mentioning that 5.2-inch variant has (3GB+ 32GB) and 5.5-inch variant has (4GB+64GB) option. These devices have a premium build quality with a good camera and at this price point, you can definitely opt for this.
2. Asus ZenFone Max (ZC550KL):
ZenFone Max (ZC550KL) will be available at Rs. 7,499, down from Rs. 7,999. The biggest highlight of this phone is 5000mah battery coupled with Snapdragon 410 and 2GB RAM+16GB. But we will not recommend this one as there are plenty of good options available.
3. Asus ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL)/(ZC520TL):
ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) will be available at a new price of Rs. 9,999. ZenFone 3 Max (ZC520TL) will be at Rs. 8,499. The ZenFone 3 Max (ZC553KL) features Snapdragon 430, 4100mah battery, 5.5-inch Full HD Display, 3 GB RAM+32 GB, 16MP Rear Camera, and 8MP Front Camera. So at this price point, this device will be a great buy. We are not recommending the Zenfone 3 Max (ZC520TL) as it is powered by a MediaTek Processor.
4. Asus ZenFone Go 5.0 and 5.5:
ZenFone Go 5.0 will be priced at Rs. 6,499 and the ZenFone Go 5.5 will be available at Rs. 6,999. Looking at the outdated hardware we can’t recommend these two devices either. There are plenty of other options available offering more superior hardware at this price range so better avoid these devices.
