Nokia 3310 is been the most popular feature phone for quite a long period. In 2017, when Nokia came back to the market with HMD Global, they revived the legend by giving it a new design and 3G capability. However, that year we expected from HMD to launch 3310 with 4G but sadly, the scenario was different. Now in 2018, seems like HMD Global has finally decided to bring Nokia 3310 4G.The new Nokia 3310 4G listed on TENAA which is a Chinese regulatory body for telecommunication devices. Initially, some images spotted on TENNA last week. Now, the listing has been updated with Nokia 3310 4G specifications. The listing confirms the Nokia 3310 with model number TA-1077.
It will also support various LTE bands, including Band 38, Band 39, Band 40, and Band 41. In addition, standards like GSM, TD-SCDMA, and TD-LTE will also support. This means it will support 4G networks in India. Beside this, other specifications of Nokia 3310 also revealed.

Beside this, it will feature 2.4-inch TFT Display with a 240 x 320-pixel resolution, a single camera with a 2MP rear sensor and a 1200mAh battery. On the software side, Nokia 3310 4G will run YunOS 5.2.0. It is an Android-based mobile operating system developed by China’s Alibaba. Though HMD may develop a feature phone version of the YunOS.
Nokia 3310 4G Availability:
The launch of the Nokia 3310 4G variant is speculated for MWC 2018. However, HMD can bring this new model at HMD Global’s January 19 event in China, alongside the launch of the flagship Nokia 9, Nokia 8 (2018), and Nokia 6 (2018).
Now, you must be thinking it is 2018 and we are still talking about feature phones but why? one of the main reason is the name of Nokia and it bears a rich history and besides that, the original Nokia 3310 is known for its tank-like build quality. Another reason is: feature phones will continue to co-exist for its ruggedness and ease of use. In this era of smartphones with beautifully crafted designs are yet very fragile and that’s why people always like to carry a secondary feature phone to survive the extreme use case scenarios.
