Jio Rs. 49 Plan is Offering Unlimited Calls and 1GB 4G Data to Jio Phone Users

Reliance Jio today announced an exciting new tariff plan for Jio Phone users. Jio has announced a Rs. 49 tariff plan which offers 1GB of 4G data and unlimited voice calls without any limit for 28 days. In addition, the company has also launched four sachet plans for Jio Phone at Rs. 11, Rs. 21, Rs. 51, and Rs. 101. Jio recently announced Republic Day 2018 Plans for Non-Jio Phone users and now with the launch of Rs. 49 plan Jio Phone users will be delighted.The feature phone was launched back in last July with a 2.4-inch display with 240×320 pixels resolution. In addition, it features a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, coupled with 512MB RAM and 4GB Internal. The phone also comes with a 2MP rear camera and a 0.3MP front camera and packs a 2000mAh battery.

Since the arrival of Jio Phone, it changed the whole market of feature phones as no other company able to give such value for money. In addition, the Jio Phone is available for Rs. 1,500 which will be refunded to customers after three years which brings the effective price of the phone to zero. Now, with the launch of Rs. 49 tariff plan Jio Phone is a killer deal and it is aimed at heavy voice calling users.

On Wednesday, Counterpoint Research said that With a 26 percent market share, Reliance Jio has become the leading feature phone brand in the country in the fourth quarter last year. According to the report, Reliance managed to sell more than 15 million Jio Phones in the last quarter of 2017. In the feature phone category, Reliance Retail now has 27% market share.

Tarun Pathak, associate director of Counterpoint Said:

“Jio Phone brought in huge volumes in the quarter, due to which it was able to surpass Samsung, which typically leads this segment. The device saw traction as feature phone users moved to the Jio Phone and could use the similar form factor device to consume data as against the voice only earlier.”

In addition, Jio recently hit 160.1 million of subscribers and it seems like the company has no plan to stop their aggressive business policy and once again they proved that by launching Rs. 49 tariff plan for Jio Phone users.
