Summary: Airtel has now launched a new Rs. 597 prepaid plan which will offer a Validity of 168 Days. This plan is specifically targeted at the users who are looking for a tariff plan which will offer unlimited voice calls with long-term validity.

To know more about this have a look at the main article below.

Main Article: In this era of telecom tariff war, almost every telecom operator is offering plans with unlimited voice and data plans for almost three months. However, there are different types of user base depending on their daily needs. Sadly, no telecom operator is currently that kind of plans properly as of now. I am here talking about the users who need plans with long-term validity and voice only plans as well.  Especially, voice only plans are much needed as there are many users who use home’s Wi-Fi and just uses a few MB’s of mobile data. However, recently Airtel has launched a plan of Rs. 597 with a validity of 168 days. This plan somehow recognizes the user’s need but it is not perfect at its core. So Here is the Airtel  Rs. 597 plan details.597, Airtel

Airtel Rs. 597 Plan

As mentioned earlier, Artel’s Rs. 597 plan is valid for 168 days. It is the only plan with such long validity that is currently offered by any operator in the country within Rs. 1000. Now, if we come to the plan’s details, it will offer unlimited voice calls without any FUP, 100 SMS per day and 10 GB of data. The data can be used any time during the plan validity and there is no daily FUP for the data. Looking at the plan, we can surely say this plan is aimed at the voice only users. Sadly, this plan is only available for select Airtel customers and that is the only drawback apart from the price. Airtel Rs. 597 plan is maybe a sign of upcoming tariff plans from telecom operators considering different consumer needs.

In contrast, Reliance Jio’s Rs. 999 plan is the closest tariff plan of Airtel’s latest offering. However, Jio’s plan offers 60 GB of Data with only 90 days validity and the rest offerings are same. The biggest difference is probably the open market availability of Rs.999 plan as Airtel is offering Rs. 597 plan to select consumers only. In conclusion, we think that it will be a good move from Airtel if they could launch this plan for every prepaid user in future.
