After a long wait, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is officially here. The Galaxy Note 9 is officially being announced today. And this time Samsung is doubling down on everything that the Note series represents: productivity and performance. Samsung claims that the new Galaxy Note 9 has the best specs you will find in any flagship. It has a bigger screen, the S Pen has more tricks than ever before. The Galaxy Note 9 this time has a huge battery. Also above all the Samsung’s DeX software is now built right into the phone no dock required so you can plug it into an external display for a desktop-like experience.

Galaxy Note 9: Design

Talking about the looks the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is similar to the Note 8. The rear fingerprint sensor has moved below the camera. Which was expected after the S9 disappointment. The New Samsung Galaxy Note 9 will come in two color variants that are blue and pink/purple. The blue model includes that bright yellow S Pen seen in all the leaked images. There’s no black option (at least in the US), which is pretty surprising. This time the phone is quite large which does increase the width and the thickness of the phone. The screen size of the phone is 6.4 inches versus last year’s 6.3-inch display — and a bigger battery. The 9 is actually a hair shorter than the 8, thanks to continued downsizing of the top and bottom bezels.

Galaxy Note 9 Specifications and features:

The flagship has a 6.4- inch big Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2960×1440. The huge Infinity Display is complemented by stereo speakers, which are tuned by AKG and have the ability to support Dolby Atmos. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 10nm 64-bit Octa-core processor and runs on Android Oreo 8.1. For countries outside the US, Samsung is expected to incorporate its Exynos 9810 chipset. One of the highlighting parts is it includes Samsung’s Water Carbon Cooling technology to keep the phones cool during intense gaming sessions. An on-device AI-based performance adjusts the algorithm to deliver powerful and stable performance. It also has a decent battery of 4,000mAh  power which, the company claims, gives users all day power. The phone is available in two variants, 6GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 512GB storage.

Galaxy Note 9: Camera

The Galaxy Note 9 comes with a dual-camera system with Dual OIS on the rear. Both the wide-angle and telephoto lens has a 12MP sensor. The wide-angle sensor has F1.5/F2.4 variable aperture and the telephoto lens has an F2.4 F-spot. The front camera has an 8MP sensor with F1.7 aperture. The phablet’s camera uses intelligence to identify elements of a photo, such as a scene and subject, to automatically classify it into one of 20 categories. It then optimizes saturation, white balance, brightness and contrast based on the category. The camera even does flaw detection. The phone lets the photographer know if there’s something wrong so that he or she you can take another picture. The photographer gets an immediate notification if the image is blurry, if the subject blinked, if there is a smudge on the lens or if there is backlight impacting the quality of the image.

All of Samsung’s other hardware signatures like water resistance, fast wireless charging, expandable microSD storage, and the headphone jack is still here. (So is the Bixby button, for that matter.) Toss a 512GB microSD card into the 512GB Note 9, and you’ll have a phone with 1TB of storage. Now that’s great.

The Note 9 has Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with the same experience as that of Samsung’s last several phones. You will also see Samsung Pay in the new Note 9. Which does have the ability to mimic a credit card’s magnetic stripe at stores where NFC payments don’t always work is a nice fallback.

Galaxy Note 9: Pricing and Availability

Talking about the pricing. The 128GB / 6GB RAM model will cost for $999 and the  512GB / 8GB RAM version for $1,250. Preorders begin on August 10th, and the phone will be available on August 24th at all major carriers or direct (and unlocked) from Samsung.

So, at last, it seems like the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is a solid refinement and evolution upon last year’s Note 8. The Note series fans will surely love the phone. but still, we think that the smartphone is a little over price. the buyers will have to pay a lot of money to own the Galaxy Note 9.
