Moto P30 Note Launched with 6GB RAM and 5000mah Battery

Summary: The Lenovo owned Motorola has launched the Moto P30 Note Smartphone in China. The global version of the same is known as Motorola One Power and it is likely to debut in India next month. It sports a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio with 2.5D curved glass. Underneath, there is Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 which is backed by a 5000mah battery. It also packs AI dual cameras and the front camera has an AI beauty mode as well.

Main Article: Motorola has announced the Moto P30 Note Smartphone as an addition to the ‘P series’ in China. Notably, the company announced the Moto P30 last month. Recently, Motorola has also unveiled  Motorola One and Motorola One Power at IFA 2018 in Berlin. The P series and the One series resembles a lot and there I only one distinguishing factor. The P series runs on Android Oreo with ZUI 4.0 while the One series comes with Android One program. Notably, Moto One Power is the global version of the newly announced P30 Note.

The P30 Note comes with a notch design like any other smartphones released this year. It sports a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio with 2.5D curved glass. However, the company didn’t mention the Gorilla Glass version which is protecting the device. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC.

The P30 Note will be available in two RAM variants – 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. Both the variants will have 64GB onboard storage that can be expanded up to 256GB with microSD. In addition, it runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based ZUI 4.0 out of the box and comes with a massive 5000mah battery. The good thing is that it supports fast charging through an 18w charger.Now coming to the most awaited part, the cameras of course. It sports dual rear cameras on the back and a single front camera. There is a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash with f/1.8 aperture, and 1.25μm pixel size coupled with a 5MP secondary camera with a f/2.2 aperture for depth sensing. On the front, there is a 12MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.25μm pixel size. The cameras come with some AI capabilities as well.

Moto P30 Note Price and Availability

The Moto P30 Note will be available in Mercury Black color. It is priced at 1999 yuan (US$ 292 / Rs. 20,710 approx.) for the 4GB version while the 6GB version priced at 2299 yuan (US$ 336 / Rs. 23,820 approx.). It is already available in China on sale. However, Moto P30 Note will debut in India next month. If Motorola can keep the pricing under 15k then it can give tough competition to devices like Redmi note 5 Pro, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1, and Nokia 6.1 Plus.
