Redmi Note 7 Pro vs Realme 3 Pro- Result Analysis
So the poll results can be seen easily and the margin of winning is huge. However, we didn’t expect the result to be one-sided like this. Therefore, previously we called the results as surprising. In our opinion, Realme has done fairly well with the Realme 3 Pro and it can be called as the most balanced device in this segment. However, Redmi Note 7 Pro has a clear mandate from the consumers. Therefore, it is the winner of this comparison poll of Redmi Note 7 Pro vs Realme 3 Pro.
Hence, we have analyzed the result and found the reasons why Redmi Note 7 Pro managed to get so many votes.
Display and Design
Firstly, if we talk about the design, despite having larger bezels on the display the Note 7 Pro is the clear cut winner as it comes with a glass body. Both front and back have Gorilla Glass 5 Protection. Therefore, the in-hand feel of the device is very premium. On the other hand, Realme Pro’s gradient finish on the plastic back looks less premium while compared to the Note 7 Pro. However, both the devices have excellent IPS panels for the price point.
Hardware
Then if we come to the internals, it is powered by the Snapdragon 675 which is the most powerful SoC of 600 series so no complaints about that. However, the GPU of the Realme 3 Pro is far better. So for most of the regular users, Snapdragon 675 seemed more logical as compared to the Snapdragon 710. However, you can’t feel any difference between the two in real life usage.
Software Experience
Now coming to the software experience, MIUI has a large fan base and MIUI 10 shows the maturity of the skin as well. Though the MIUI is full of ads while compared to the ad-free Color OS 6 but still many users find that Color OS is cartoonish. Therefore, they prefer MIUI with ads over the ad-free Color OS. Notably, the ads can be also disabled but the users have to do that manually. Now coming to the advanced users, they choose Note 7 pro for some obvious reasons- huge customization options, Plethora of Custom ROMs, kernel sources, bootloader unlocking, and so on. The popularity of Redmi phones attract the developers more as well while compared to Realme devices.
Cameras
Moving on to the deciding factor, the cameras. Now both the device comes with very capable camera sensors but the main difference is in the software algorithm. As the software takes the priority here, Redmi Note 7 Pro became a more obvious choice. Redmi’s image post-processing has matured a lot whereas Realme has still got a room for improvements. Hence, the camera output from the Note 7 Pro is mostly accurate and full of details whereas Realme 3 Pro’ s output is somewhere over-saturated and over-sharpened. Therefore, in order to get a reliable picture every time, user kept the faith on the Note 7 Pro.
Battery
Now coming to battery backup, the devices come with a 4000mah and 4045mah battery respectively. Both the devices give very good battery life that can easily last you a day. Note 7 Pro comes with USB type c port with QC 4.0 support but the fast charger is not included. Whereas, Realme 3 Pro comes with a micro USB port with VOOC 3.0 charger in the box for fast charging and the charging time is really amazing as well. It takes around only 80 minutes to charge up the device completely. However, the future is type c. Hence, most of the users would like to experience the new technology. So despite not having a fast charger, they don’t really mind buying Note 7 Pro with modern connectivity.
Conclusion
So all these factors made the Redmi Note 7 Pro the ultimate winner of this comparison poll of Redmi Note 7 Pro vs Realme 3 Pro. Please let us know in the comment section below if we miss something in this post analysis of the result.
