Samsung Galaxy M31 launched with Quad rear cameras, Android 10

Samsung Galaxy M31 Launched: A South Korean smartphone company, Samsung launched its first Galaxy M series smartphone of this year, called Samsung Galaxy M31. Galaxy M31 smartphone is a successor of last year’s Galaxy M20. It comes with some great improvements over its predecessor. Last Year Galaxy M20 came with triple camera sensors on the rear penal, now the latest M series smartphone featured with quad-camera sensors. It has a more doubled megapixel selfie camera compared to the predecessor and a bigger battery.

Samsung Galaxy M31 features a 6.4-inch AMOLED display panel that supports Full HD pixels of resolution. The phone screen also offers a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Galaxy M31 smartphone comes with a waterdrop notch design for the selfie camera. The phone is 8.9mm thick and weighs 191 grams, thanks to the massive battery inside. The back panel of the phone is made by polycarbonate.

The Galaxy M31 smartphone powered by Octa-Core CPU which clocks at 2.3 GHz along with the company’s own Exynos 9611 chipset on board. The phone comes with 6 GB LPDD4 RAM and two UFS 2.1 storage variants, 64 GB and 128 GB. The storage of the smartphone is expandable via a dedicated micro SD card slot. Samsung Galaxy M31 packed with a massive 6000 mAh capacity battery inside the body. At the launch event, the company promised that this massive battery will deliver up to 119 hours of music playtime battery back up, up to 26 hours video playtime battery back up, up to 48 hours of talk time battery back up. It comes with a 15W fast battery charging feature.

Samsung’s latest Galaxy M series smartphone featured with a total of four camera sensors on the back panel along with LED flash. On the backside, there is a rectangle-shaped camera sensors setup and the configurations are, 64 megapixels Samsung  GW1 main camera sensor, 8 megapixels 123-degree ultrawide camera sensor, 5-megapixel macro camera sensors, and 5-megapixel depth camera sensors. The Galaxy M31 rear camera also supports Macro shot, Live Focus, Night Mode, Super Slow Motion, 4K Video Recording, Hyperlapse, and Super Steady Mode features. On the front side, there is a 32-megapixel camera sensor with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls. The front camera of the phone supports 4K Video recording, Slow Motion Video Recording, AR Emoji, and AR Doodle features.

The Galaxy M31 runs on the Android 10 operating system out of the box along with the company’s One UI 2.0 running on top. There is a fingerprint scanner placed on the rear panel and the phone also supports face unlock feature.

Samsung Galaxy M31 base model with 6 GB RAM and 64 GB storage available at Rs. 14,999 ($208) while the 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage Galaxy M31 available at Rs. 15,999 ($222). The Galaxy M31 is available in Space Black and Ocean Blue color options. The first sale of the phone will go live on 5th March in India and available on Amazon India and Samsung’s online store.
