YouTube in 2014 has bought offline playback support for users. And now they have expanded the original feature by official video download recommendation section. YouTube has provided different resolution schemes for both Android and iOS users to be downloaded with high video quality. “Recommended downloads won’t be automatically saved to your device, nor use any of your storage. Unless you tap the download icon to save them. If you tap the download icon while you’re offline, the video will be downloaded the next time you connect to a Wi-Fi network approved for downloads,” the YouTube team explained on the support page.
The video streaming platform i.e YouTube has provided an expanded download section. This month they have tested this section. YouTube has provided videos with different resolutions for Android and ios users to download video with high video quality.
Google has also confirmed it through a support page. Recommended downloads won’t be automatically saved to your device, nor use any of your storage, unless you tap the download icon to save them. If you tap the download icon while you’re offline, the video will be downloaded the next time you connect to a Wi-Fi network approved for downloads, the YouTube team explained on the support page.
You can also turn off the download video recommendations by turning it off. After going to your profile > Settings > Backgrounds and Downloads > Recommended downloads, you can toggle off which will stop the pop up of recommended video downloads.
This new change will not make any changes to the previous video quality. The organisation will by default choose the video quality according to your network connection. So, YouTube will now set all the recommended content in the downloads section. To download any recommended video you just need to click on the download icon. And the video will be downloaded.
