OnePlus Nord India Launch: Finally, the wait for OnePlus’ first mid-ranged smartphone is over as the company rolled out OnePlus Nord in India. This was the first-ever AR launch in the smartphone industry.

OnePlus sold invites for the AR launch event on Amazon at a price of Rs 99. The launch event for the same took place virtually because of the ongoing pandemic.

Amazon started teasing the smartphone before a month of launch. The e-commerce platform even had a microsite for OnePlus Nord.

OnePlus Nord India Launch: Full Specifications

Most of the specs of OnePlus Nord were leaked before the launch. The smartphone runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G SoC and it is based on Android 10 OS. The smartphone will also support both 4G and 5G connectivity.

The phone has a 6.4-inch Fluid AMOLED display and a 90Hz refresh rate which is going to be a boon for gaming geeks.

OnePlus Nord has three different RAM variants including 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM coupled with 256GB onboard storage. The phone will have two different color variants including Blue Marble and Gray Onyx.

The most unique part of OnePlus Nord is that it will sport a dual front selfie shooter including a 32MP primary lens and an 8MP secondary lens. The front camera can even record videos in 4K at 60fps.

In addition to that, the smartphone will also have a quad rear camera setup including a 48MP primary sensor, 8MP ultra-wide lens, 5MP depth sensor, and 2MP macro lens.

The smartphone is powered by a 4115mAh battery and it will have 30W warp charging support. OnePlus Nord gets charged up to 70% in just half an hour as claimed by the company.

OnePlus Nord Price and Availability

As per the price of the smartphone is considered, the basic variant of OnePlus Nord with 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage will be available at a price of Rs 24,999. The 8GB RAM variant with 128GB onboard storage will be available at a price of Rs 27,999. The top-notch variant of OnePlus Nord with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage will be priced at Rs 29,999. The smartphone will be launched via Amazon on August 4, 2020.

OnePlus Nord is going to give tough times to other smartphones available in the same price range and the slightly costlier ones. Nord has the capacity to compete with iPhone SE. It is expected that Nord is going to be a huge hit in the mid-range smartphone industry.
