Google Fi Carrier Service: Plans, Pricing, Availability, And More

Google Fi is a carrier service launched in the United States by Google. The service offers data based on mobile networks including US Cellular, T-Mobile, and Sprint. It can also provide texting and calling services based on WiFi.

In its initial stage, Google Fi only supported Nexus and Pixel smartphones. In the current times, Google Fi service is available for a lot of Android smartphones and iPhones too.

Google Fi Plans

Google Fi plans are available on the basis of the requirements of customers. Let’s say you have a family of 6 and you need a customized plan, then you’ll get two options including the Unlimited plan and the flexible plan.

The most famous plans are the Flexible for 3 and the Unlimited for 3. In the Flexible for 3 plan, you have to pay $17 each $10 per GB for the data along with the additional taxes. If you opt for the same plan individually, it will cost you $20 a month along with additional data and government charges.

In the Unlimited for 3 plan, you need to pay $50 per head and the taxes and there is no data cap in the plan as you have access to unlimited data. You get high-speed data in this plan up to 22GB, after that it gets a bit slow. If you go individually for the same place, it will cost you around $70 and additional government charges.

Travel plans

Google Fi got you covered even if you are travelling to different countires. If you travel with the unlimited plan, you’ll enjoy the data services with no extra cost, only your calls will be charged at a price of 20 cents a minute.

If you are traveling with the Flexible plan, you need pay 20 cents a minute for calls. Apart from that, all the charges will be same.

You have to keep it in mind that if you want to use Google Fi, then you must have a compatible smartphone. As of now, it can be used in various Android phones and iPhones.
