After the recent launch of Chromecast by Google, the company has now announced the introduction of the Google Duo app to your Android TV. Google Duo will be a new app to your television, through which you can directly place smooth one-on-one or group video calls. The camera will be the only external support required, and if your TV has it, then nothing to worry about, but if it lacks, then you can surely attach a webcam.
Amid this Covid-19 situations when meetings have restricted to the level of video calls, then getting something more effective, eases the entire working process. It often happens that calls over a large screen are more effective and comfortable than getting the same on your mobile phones and PC. Keeping this in mind Google has decided to introduce this app to Android TV.

It is expected that both the video calling apps by Google i.e. Duo and Meet, will be merged to create a single video calling platform named DUET. Features and release date are still unknown, but speculation reveals of it hitting the market anytime soon.
