JioPhone launched- Everything You Need to Know

Reliance Jio is again back with a new Dhamaka. This time with JioPhone. Today at Company’s AGM Jio has announced its new feature phone calling it JioPhone as INDIA KA SMARTPHONE. The company claims that this phone will bring digital freedom for all Indians.

Now let’s talk about the details we got about this device.

PRICE-

The phone will cost 0 Rs. but there are some terms and conditions. The company said that they will initially collect a 100% refundable security deposit of Rs.1500 which will be refunded after 3 years to avoid the misuse of this device. That means the customer will pay 1500 Rs. after 3 years when they’ll return the phone they’ll be refunded but if one doesn’t want to return the device the money will be not refunded.

AVAILABILITY-

The phone will become available on beta from 15th August to their own employees or to some customers that will be confirmed soon. After that this device will be available for pre-booking from 24th August on my Jio app or official website and to all reliance Jio store. The device will be available physically to the customers from September.

PlANS-

The company announced a monthly plan of RS.153 for this feature phone exclusively. In this plan, the users will get unlimited data, free Voice and SMS and will also get the Jio apps support. There are some other sachets packs like Rs.24 for 2 days and Rs.54 per week. Other than this we can also access live tv with Jio phone tv cable for Rs.309 per month.

PHONE SPECS-

Now it is where things getting interesting it is a feature phone yet it is something beyond that because it’ll be the first ever feature phone that will support 4g VolTe. There is much more like own digital assistant and NFC support and much more in this device.
