However, In 2018, it seems like Vivo is trying to break through this image and trying to be in the big leagues with the Vivo Xplay 7. Earlier this month, Vivo became the first company to launch a smartphone with under the display fingerprint sensor. The Vivo X20 Plus UD from the company is the world’s first device to feature under display fingerprint sensor.

A slide from a PPT has surfaced online revealing some of the specifications of the device. The leaked renders also suggest that the device will sport a sleek design, dual rear camera setup and the same under the display fingerprint sensor like the Vivo X20 Plus UD.
The Xplay 7 will also feature a 4K OLED display with ultra-thin bezels. The presentation slides also claim that the smartphone will have a screen-to-body ratio of 92.9 percent. In addition, Xplay 7 will be powered by Snapdragon 845 with a massive 10GB RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. If the smartphone will offer this amount of RAM, then it will become world’s first device.
Now talking about the cameras, the device could come with Dual IMX Sony sensors that offer 4x optical zoom and it will feature dual camera setup at the back with LED flash between the sensors. Previous leaks also suggested that the device will come with 12MP + 8MP dual camera with LED flash. The phone was also said to come with a Sony IMX401 sensors that will support 4x optical zoom.
In addition, it could come with facial recognition and with two storage options as well – 256GB and 512GB. The Vivo Xplay 7 is also said to be backed by a massive 4000mAh battery and run latest Android 8.0 Oreo.
