A specification sheet of the Nokia 9 has leaked, tipping some of the expected features in the upcoming smartphone. This handset has been in a buzz for a long time now. Ever since Nokia-licensee HMD Global entered the market with Android-powered smartphones, people have been waiting to see a premium flagship handset from the company. Nokia 9 is in rumors form a long time because of it Triple camera setup.
According to the latest leak, the Nokia 9 appears to pack features that can take on the Samsung Galaxy S9 or the recent Apple iPhone models. The Nokia 9 was expected to be launched by HMD Global two months ago, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Ahead of the event, several leaks and rumors had surfaced on the internet but the handset did not make its way into the launch event. But, now an image of the specifications sheet of the Nokia 9 was leaked via Finnish site Suomimobiili, revealing most of the details about the handset. The most highlighting things of the phone are Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB of RAM, Gorilla Glass 5, a triple camera setup, an in-glass fingerprint reader, an 18-karat gold finish on the back panel, and an IP68 rating.
Nokia 9 specifications:
According to the latest leak, the Nokia 9 is a dual- Sim (Nano) smartphone. Nokia 9 will be running on Android 8.1 Oreo. Nokia 9 is also listed to be an Android One smartphone. It will sport a 6.01-inch AMOLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The smartphone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC coupled with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
The main thing about the smartphone will be its camera. Nokia 9 is going to have 41-megapixel, 20-megapixel, and 9.7-megapixel sensors n the back with Carl Zeiss optics in the triple camera setup that’s completes with 4x optical zoom, along with xenon and LED flash modules. The 41-megapixel sensor is said to feature 1.4-micron pixels, OIS, a wide-angle lens, and a variable aperture of f/1.5 and f/2.4. The second, 20-megapixel sensor is said to be coupled with a telephoto lens OIS, 1-micron pixels, and a f/2.4 aperture.
On the front, the Nokia 9 is listed to sport a 21-megapixel sensor with 1.4-micron pixels, an f/1.8 aperture, and once again, Carl Zeiss optics. The Dual-Sight tech for the company’s Bothie feature will also be present, apart from a Pro Camera mode.
The Nokia 9 might come with 256 GB of inbuilt storage. Connectivity options listed include Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, USB Type-C, and NFC. It will include an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone will be powered by 3900mAh Battery, sad to deliver up to 24 hours of talk time and up to 565 hours of in 30 minutes. The Smartphone will support Quick Char 4.0 support that will charge 60 percent of your battery in 30 minutes. It will also support wireless charging support. with a ceramic back plate also listed to enable it – like the Mi Mix 2S. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone will measure 150.6×75.2×7.3mm.
There are no official dates for the phone yet but we expect it to launch it in this year. Also, these specifications are not official so it cant be taken seriously but if it came out to be true then it will surely make a difference in the market.
