Almost every day there is a new leak, rumor or news about a smartphone. Today it is from Samsung. After Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ flagship handsets, Samsung is planning to launch Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini. if certain sources are to be believed you will soon see Galaxy S9 Mini launching in Global Market. Spotted on Geekbench with model number SM-G8750, the upcoming smartphone is believed to sport mid-range specifications with the launch expected soon. The single-core score of the handset is 1619 and multi-core score is 5955.
According to the listing page uploaded on Geekbeanch on Monday, spotted by Slashleaks. This new smartphone by Samsung smartphone with model number SM-G8750, expectedly Galaxy S9 Mini, will run Android 8.0.0 Oreo. Additionally, the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC (1.84GHz clock speed), paired with 4GB of RAM. No other specification are known yet but we expect to get more information soon. Point to be noted is that, yes there are few reasons to believe that this new smartphone will be named as Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini but this name is not yet confirm it may come up to be a new name or new series.
If it comes out to be true that the given listing is for Samsung Galaxy S9 Mini then it will be the first Mini variant for Samsung’s flagships after the Galaxy S5 Mini. The Galaxy S5 Mini had a 4.5-inch display, in contrast to the larger 5.1-inch one on the original Galaxy S5. Accordingly, the Galaxy S9 Mini could sport a smaller panel compared to the one seen on the Galaxy S9. Pricing and availability of the smartphone are currently unknown.
Definitely S9 Mini will have a screen size less than 6.0 inch. it might have 5.5 to 5.7 inch or less, less RAM and Storage. But still, it will be interesting to see what Samsung is up to.
