Now coming back to our main topic Jio GigaFiber, It has been under testing for about two years now. The Jio GigaFiber will come in two services – Jio GigaFiber router and Jio GigaFiber DTH box. Reliance finally made it official and the company plans to extend fiber connectivity to across 1,100 cities. The company claims it is one of the most advanced fiber-based broadband connectivity. Thus it makes a promise to bring speeds up to 1Gbps. Therefore, it will offer Ultra HD entertainment on TV, multi-party video conferencing and much more. Interested customers will be able to register for the GigaFiber broadband service from August 15 over MyJio app and the Jio official website. Interestingly, Jio said that they will prioritize the rollout of GigaFiber in cities based on the interest it has received from registrations.

GigaFiber will also work on TVs with the help of GigaTV set-top boxes and smart home devices. It will also allow subscribers to use voice commands on a microphone-enabled TV remote to access Jio apps such as Jio TV, Jio Cinema, Jio TV Call.Jio GigaFiber

Explaining the Tv calling Isha Ambani Said: “You can call every other TV that is powered by Jio GigaFiber. You can also call a mobile or tablet connected to every network.
