However, it seems like Moto is trying to make it right this time by launching the Motorola One Power in India. Notably, this is the second Android One phone from Motorola globally and the first in India. It sports a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a 19:9 aspect ratio with 2.5D curved glass. The thickness of the device is 8.4 mm while the weight being 198 grams and it is also splash resistant. Overall the phone is on the heavier side as other Moto devices. It packs a 5000mah battery and it comes with a 15W fast charger as well. Interestingly, now the Moto logo is embedded on the fingerprint sensor on the back. Therefore, I think Moto should continue to implement this on other devices as well.
Underneath there is a Snapdragon 636 SoC powering the device paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Furthermore, it runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) and the company promised Android 9.0 (Pie) update as well as Android Q update. In addition, Motorola will also provide security updates for three years from the initial global launch date. Motorola one power also support Widevine Level 1 DRM so users will be able to stream Netflix and Amazon Video in HD resolution.
In terms of cameras, it sports dual rear cameras on the back and a single front camera. There is a 16MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash with f/1.8 aperture, and 1.12μm pixel size coupled with a 5MP secondary camera with a f/2.2 aperture for depth sensing. It can shoot slow-motion HD videos as well as Full HD+ videos in 2160p quality. On the front, there is a 12MP camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.25μm pixel size.
