HMD Global Finally Launched the Nokia 2 under the name of Nokia Brand. Nokia 2 is the most anticipated entry-level smartphone device of 2017.
Before launching Nokia 2, Nokia 3 was the most affordable device. HMD Global marketed the Nokia 2 with the highlight of 2-day battery life.
Nokia 2 sports a massive 4100mah battery. Except for the battery part, the phone specification is below average for the aspect of 2017 entry-level device. So let’s quickly jump to the specification sheet.

HMD Global says the smartphone’s 5-inch HD LTPS display is best-in-class with a 1:1300 contrast ratio.
Nokia 2 is built out of polycarbonate with a 6000 Series Aluminium frame.

The Nokia 2 will run Android Nougat out of the box. HMD has promised an upgrade to Android Oreo.

Pros:
Nokia is known for solid build quality and longevity. Nokia 2 will not be the exception.
Promised Android Oreo update.
Battery life will be good.
Cons:
Except for the battery, there is nothing exciting about this device.
The hardware selection is the worst part at least Snapdragon 410 would make it decent.
Only 1GB Ram and 8 GB internal. It could be minimum of 2GB Ram & 16GB internal.
It is 2017 end and it is a big disappointment from HMD to launch such low spec device.
Verdict:
Some Nokia fans will buy this device only for the brand name or as a secondary device. Otherwise, there are plenty options available in the market already with some decent hardware.
Price & Availability:
The Nokia 2 has been priced at 99 euros for global markets.
It will be available in markets from mid-November.
Although the price for Indian markets has not been disclosed yet.
The Nokia 2 might be available in India for (Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 6,500).
