The Moto G6 will be a successor to the last generation Moto G5S whereas the Moto G6 Play is the successor o last years Moto G5. The Moto G6
The design of the Moto G6 is something which makes it different than its competitors. As one can notice, the device sports a glass back at the back. Compared to the other smartphones in this range, this is a more premium looking and smartphone. Moreover, Motorola has also opted for Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on both sides in order to keep the device protected from scratches.
The Moto G6 sports a 5.7-inch Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Like other Moto devices, the G6 also sports on-screen buttons and there’s a fingerprint scanner below the display. The fingerprint scanner can also double as a one-touch navigation button. To power the device, the Moto G6 comes equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 which is clocked at 1.8 GHz. There is the Adreno 506 GPU to take care of games and other graphics-intensive tasks.
Coming to the camera part, the device comes with a dual rear camera setup. The primary sensor is a 12 MP sensor with f/1.8 aperture and the second one is a 5 MP sensor which acts as a depth sensor. The Moto G6 play comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor and Adreno 505 GPU. The phone comes in two variants. One with a 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage and the other one comes with 16 GB storage and 2 GB RAM. Coming to the camera, the primary camera is a 13 MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The front-facing camera is an 8 MP camera and there is also a LED flash.
The display of the Moto G6 Play is a 5.7-inches 720 x 1440 pixels IPS LCD panel with 18:9 aspect ratio. Like its elder brother, the G6 Play also sports a fingerprint scanner beneath the display. One of the most exciting points of the device is the battery of the device which is a 4000 mAh battery. Moreover, there’s a 15W charger in the box which will charge the device faster.
