Google launched its Google Domains services for India very silently. Google Domains is a Web domain registrar service. In Google domains, you can buy new domain names or transfer your existing domains into the Google services.
There’s no official announcement yet but Google Domains are now available in India. The service is available in beta phase in India and the company is at present not offering any special offers to the customers as other popular domain services.
Google Domains competes with BigRock, GoDaddy, Hostgator, Bluehost, Namecheap and other registrar services. Google Domains is known for its simple user interface. It is the toughest thing for a customer to go through when setting up a domain.
Google Domain includes intelligent and powerful search algorithm that will not only suggest domain names based on exact keyword matches but related words too. So if I search for “techbuzz” it will check the availability of “techbuzz” as well as “high-techbuzz”, “infobuzz” and so on like this.

Services come with a Price:
Google Domains aren’t coming cheap. Google is charging more than Rs.800 for standard .com domains. The average 1-year domain registration fee is certainly higher than what other companies offering.
However, there’s no extra transfer fee if one decides to move web domain from another registrar to Google Domains but, as per ICANN rules, one has to extend the registration period of their domain for an additional year. This additional year is added to your domain’s existing registration.
Affordability is the one term on which everyone is looking for, Hopefully, Google will give some special offers when they’ll publicly announce the launch of Google Domains in India.
