Recently, Realme launched its latest Realme 3 Pro in order to compete with the Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 7 Pro. In a few days, Realme has come a long way and became a worthy challenger of Redmi in India. After disrupting the budget segment, Realme is now heavily focusing on the midrange segment. Now the company is all set to launch its new device named as Realme X in China on May 15. The company’s CEO Mr. Madhav Seth also confirmed the same and further added that it will come to India as well very soon.

So what we know so far about this upcoming Realme X? let’s find out.Realme X, Snapdragon 730

Realme X Expected Specifications and Price

Firstly, Realme X with the no-notch display got certified by TENAA in China. Similarly, it has now received the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification hinting towards India launch. So it may feature 6.5-inch full-screen AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is also confirmed that it will be the first Realme device to come with a pop-up selfie camera. On the back, it may feature 48MP + 5MP dual rear cameras.Realme X, Snapdragon 730

Most interestingly, it will be featuring the latest Snapdragon 730 SoC. For the unaware, Qualcomm recently announced the new Snapdragon 730 which is based on the 8nm process. It is based on the latest Kryo 470 cores clocked at up to 2.2GHz and it comes with the more powerful Adreno 618 GPU.  Furthermore, Snapdragon 730 has Hexagon 688 DSP with a tensor accelerator, more powerful Spectra 350 image signal processor, an X15 LTE modem, and support for Wi-Fi 6. Notably, the Anututu score of the Snapdragon 730 crossed the 2 lakh mark which is unprecedented for any Midrange SoC.Realme X, Snapdragon 730

The dimensions of the device are 161.2×76×9.4mm and it will feature 3680mAh battery along with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. It will run the latest Android 9.0 (Pie) with ColorOS 6.0 on top. However, on the contrary part, it could be the first Android One device from the company. In my opinion, Realme is planning to challenge the upcoming Mi A3 from Xiaomi so it will be a more logical step. Notably, it is expected to be priced between Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000.
