OnePlus is teasing the upcoming OnePlus 7 series for quite a long time. The company will finally unveil the OnePlus 7 series globally on May 14. Notably, OnePlus 7 Pro already took all the limelight before the launch and it is probably the most anticipated smartphone of the year. However, ahead of the official launch OnePlus 7 Pro detailed Specifications is leaked on Slashleaks. Looking at the specifications, one can easily say OnePlus is no longer the flagship killer, well it is the flagship itself. While this leak may look solid but the final truth will be revealed on May 14. So without any further delay let’s jump into the specifications of the upcoming OnePlus 7 Pro.
OnePlus 7 Pro Leaked Specifications
Display and Design
OnePlus 7 Pro will feature a 6.67-inch (1440×3120 pixels) Fluid AMOLED display with 516ppi pixel density with up to 90Hz refresh rate. In addition, the display will further be Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 6. Other display features include DCI-P3, HDR10+, and In-display fingerprint scanner. The dimensions are at 162.6×75.9×8.8mm, and it weighs 210 grams.
Hardware and Software
The OnePlus 7 Pro will run Android 9.0 (Pie) with Oxygen OS 9 on top. It will be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (7nm) octa-core processor (1 x Cortex-A76 core @ 2.84GHz, 3 x Cortex-A76 cores @ 2.42GHz, and 4 x Cortex-A55 cores @ 1.8GHz), paired with Adreno 640 GPU.
OnePlus 7 Pro will come in three RAM and storage options –
- 6GB RAM + 128GB UFS 3.0 Nand Flash memory
- 8GB RAM + 256GB UFS 3.0 Nand Flash Memory
- 12GB RAM + 256GB UFS 3.0 Nand Flash Memory
Though the phone will not come with any microSD slot so memory expansion is not possible.
Now coming to the most interesting part the cameras, it will pack a triple camera setup on the back.
Triple camera setup will include-
- 48MP Sony IMX586 sensor with f/1.6 aperture, OIS, 7P lenses
- 16MP wide-angle sensor with f/2.2 aperture and 117-degree field of view
- 8MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 78mm focal length, and 3x optical zoom
Other camera features include-
- Phase detection autofocus (PDAF)
- Laser autofocus (LAF)
- Continuous autofocus (CAF)
- Dual-LED flash
The back cameras are capable of shooting 4K at 30fps/60fps, 1080p at 30fps/60fps, 720p at 30fps.In addition, it can also shoot super slow motion 1080p and 720p at 240fps and 480fps respectively.
On the front, it will pack a 16MP Sony IMX471 pop-up selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture, EIS, and 1080p at 30fps.
Battery and Other Features
OnePlus 7 Pro will come with a bigger 4000mah battery with support for Warp Charge 30 (5V/6A) that means a 30W charger. Others features are also included like stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.0, Dual Nano SIM with Dual 4G VoLTE, Dual-band Wi-Fi, USB 3.1 Type C and NFC. Sensors like accelerometer, gyroscope, in-display fingerprint sensor, proximity sensor, gesture sensor, brightness sensor, and compass are included as well.
OnePlus 7 Pro Price
One 7 Pro will be priced higher than any other OnePlus device launched so far. It is expected to be priced in India starting at Rs. 49,999 and the price can go higher than Rs. 60,000 for the higher 12GB RAM variant. Furthermore, it will be launching in three color options – Nebula Blue, Mirror Grey, and Almond.
Looking at the probable pricing and specifications, we can say OnePlus is heavily focusing on being a premium brand rather just being a flagship killer. Most noteworthy, the OnePlus CEO Pete Lau confirmed that the company is using a new display that costs more than conventional display panels on other smartphones. Notably, the display of the 7 Pro is touting to be industry best but the final showdown will be on May 14 so wait for that.
